The templates found in this folder are not a replacement for a well-crafted estate plan. Not all templates will apply to you, and you may need multiple copies of the same template. I do recommend browsing all templates. You may find an aspect of planning that hasn’t occurred to you, or shed a different light on your plan.

You can store these documents virtually on a cloud platform, digitally on your computer, or physically in a fireproof binder or box. Fireproof boxes can be purchased for around $30. It’s recommended to revisit the box annually or after a sudden life event, such as a move or a death in the family.

• Download each template and save it to your computer

• Once downloaded, PDFs should be in a fillable format

• For templates that require multiple copies (often investment accounts), you can copy and paste the original to create multiples

• As with all sensitive information, ensure that files are stored safely and securely.

During this process, you may get inspired to write letters or create an ethical will. These would be great additions to your box. This experience is meant to be personalized and authentic, providing you with peace of mind and your family and friends with clarity and organization.
